About Westwood Works

Westwood Works is on a mission to connect Cincinnati’s largest neighborhood and celebrate its strengths by building a positive, inclusive, and vibrant community.

We focus on 3 core pillars to build up the Westwood community: connecting people, connecting place, and connecting purpose.

Project Overview & Scope

Westwood Works’ current logo was established when the organization was founded in 2009. Although the current logo offers a nod to our name and the area we serve, its outdated design does not effectively represent how we have evolved or reflect the impact we have on the individuals we serve in the community:

  • We connect people through fun community meetings, racial reconciliation, justice, and equity work, inter-and intra-community partnerships, and building relationships with residents with talents to help us grow.
  • We connect places and give people a sense of belonging through community events, creative streetscapes and play spaces, mini-grants, pedestrian safety efforts, and developing and investing in our neighborhood.
  • We connect purpose by ensuring that inclusion, diversity, and community input are at the forefront of our efforts. We connect people to their passions and act as a positive liaison to community organizations.

We are looking for a more relevant, impactful, and modern logo that accurately represents our brand and is unique in our organizational sector. The logo must be used effectively across all media for marketing purposes, including print, website, and social media.
