Westwood Works Partners with James Billiter on Exclusive Print

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Cincinnati, May 30, 2022 – Westwood Works will launch a one-of-a-kind James Billiter Westwood Community Print Campaign to support our growing and popular mini-grant program. The limited release signed and numbered poster will be revealed on Wednesday, May 31 at 7:30 PM at Nation, Westwood on Epworth Avenue.

The exclusive print embodies all of what is great about Westwood and the resurgence of the largest neighborhood in Cincinnati! The print features 3 noted landmarks in our community and James Billiter’s unique architectural style that has garnered him regional acclaim. Check out his work here.

The funds will go to the mini grant campaign that provides funding for projects in Westwood and East Westwood to applicants who live, pray, play, and work in both communities. The grants range anywhere from $100 to $1000.

Current grantees have included: Laundry Love, My Neighbors Place, Westwood Grows, East Westwood SpringFest, Gaga for All with the YMCA, Westwood Story Project in conjunction with the Cincinnati History Museum. Last year we had over 19 applicants – a record and selected a total of 6.

Laundry Love will be in attendance tomorrow evening for soundbites.

This year, our goal is to raise $10,000, a portion of which is being matched by a $5,000 match from Derek Bauman. The posters have been generously unwritten by Haverkos Orthodontics, St. James Episcopal Church and Westwood United Methodist Church.

All donations are tax deductible per IRS guidance.
