Front Yard Fiesta

For one day, neighbors throughout Westwood will host simple, welcoming gatherings right from their front porches, yards, and driveways: anything from coffee and conversation to cookouts, concerts, or games.

Why?

Because thriving neighborhoods start with strong relationships. Connection starts on our individual streets and spreads throughout our community. It cultivates a village and shapes the future.

In a time when it’s easy to feel disconnected and divided, Front Yard Fiesta is about creating meaningful moments that build trust and strengthen the social fabric of our community. When neighbors know each other, we create safer streets, deeper belonging, and a place where people look out for one another.

Pull up a chair, share what you have, and meet someone new right outside your front door.

PLEASE NOTE: As of 5/26/2026 our Front Yard Fiesta Fund has been exhausted. If you were one of the first ten applicants, we will reach out early July to distribute funds. If you were not one of the first ten, we hope you will still gather neighbors that day and find a way to grow connections on your street! If you would still like to register your party, we will have someone coming around to take photos!
